So we did it. After hand feeding him for almost a month, through growing his adult feathers, and learning to fly, we took the pigeon to the Wildlife Rehab Center. It became painfully aware he wasn't going to leave when we left him outside and he would just hang out on the porch, perch on your shoulder and wait for you to feed him. We took him to the center to be socialized with other pigeons and released.
