Bye Bye Birdie.

So we did it.  After hand feeding him for almost a month, through growing his adult feathers, and learning to fly, we took the pigeon to the Wildlife Rehab Center.  It became painfully aware he wasn't going to leave when we left him outside and he would just hang out on the porch, perch on your shoulder and wait for you to feed him.  We took him to the center to be socialized with other pigeons and released.

Happy 4th of July

I know its only July 1st but this will be my last post until July 5th.  I'll be busy/away.  So here's a sketch of Cap #100.  What better way to celebrate America than to draw a picture of a fictional patriot.... or have a complete governement shutdown?  Way to go Minnesota.
